Policies

All returns require a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. FEC and FECHELIPORTS issues RMA numbers following a review of each RMA request as they are submitted. Each request will be approved or denied on the basis of the following guidelines:

  • Customer issued RMA# and marks package appropriately.
  • Customer responsible for items shipping costs.
  • Replacement item is shipped upon receipt and acceptance of returned material.
  • A 15% Re-Stocking Fee is applicable.
  • Replacement items typically ship the same day as receipt of return.

Guaranteed Return/Exchange Option

  • Customer Returns items per STANDARD RETURN PROCEDURE (Above)
  • Customer issues new PO for new item.
  • New Item shipped ASAP.
  • Credit will be given upon receipt and acceptance of retuned material
  • A 15% Re-Stocking Fee is applicable (after 30 Days)

Restrictions on Returns

Non-Defective returns are accepted for credit or exchange at FEC & FECHELIPORTS discretion. All non-defective returns are subject to a 15% re-stocking fee.

All products returned must be complete. This includes all original protective packaging (including electro static protection) or other accessories originally shipped with the product. Incomplete returns may be assed an incomplete return fee of up to 25% in addition to any other fee(s). Returns received with the original manufacturer’s box written upon where the client did not use any adhesive shipping label will be asses a defaced carton fee of 15% in addition to any other fee(s).

Shipping and Handling charges are not refundable.

Permissible Time Frame for Return

FEC & FECHELIPORTS provides a thirty (30) day return policy. ALL Request made for a RMA must be made within thirty (30) days from the invoice date. RMA numbers are only valid for ten days and the product must be returned within this time frame. RMA numbers will not be extended or reissued.

Defective or DOA product

Product that is defective or Dead on Arrival (DOA) will be repaired, replaced, or credited according to the manufacturer’s warranty a FEC & FECHELIPORTS discretion.

Shipping Damage

If the product arrives with damage that is visible or likely to have affected the contents of the boxes, the preferred method of handling it is to refuse delivery of the shipment due to damage from the carrier. The carrier will be responsible for returning it to FEC & FECHELIPORTS. The client must note the reason for refusal on the carrier’s’ attempted delivery’ record. If the damaged shipment is not accepted, the recipient must note all known and visible damages on the carrier’s delivery record. In order for FEC & FECHELIPORTS to file a damage claim. The recipient must save the product and all packaging it arrived in and notify FEC & FECHELIPORTS immediately so a carrier inspection and pickup can be arranged. Failure to follow these instructions or to report damage within 15 days from the invoice date will result in the request being denied as out of return eligibility.
